1927 born on October 19th in Bruxels
1949 joins the Cobra movement
1950 initiated into etching with Stanley William Hayter, at the Studio 17 and learns japanese calligraphy.
meets Giacometti, Bram Van Velde, Victor Brauner and Wallace Ting.
1955 first main exhibition organized in 1955 in the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Bruxels.
1965 discovers a new technique, acrylic painting taught to him by Wallace Ting.
invited by Andre Breton to join to the 10th international Exhibition of Surrealism
