is called by Gropius, the founding member of the Bauhaus movement, to join and to teach at the school created in 1919 in Weimar. |

teaches at the Kunstakademie in Düsseldorf. He is then dismissed by the Nazi regime in 1933 |

suffering from a serious illness, he works a lot until his death his works are regularly exhibited in the USA and in Switzerland |
